It's coming down to that time again: resolutions and goals for the fresh new year are being pondered over and written down, promises to ourselves of how we are going to be better going forward.

The most popular resolutions according to USA.gov are as follows:
  • Lose Weight
  • Volunteer to Help Others
  • Quit Smoking
  • Get a Better Education
  • Get a Better Job
  • Save Money
  • Get Fit
  • Eat Healthy Food
  • Manage Stress
  • Manage Debt
  • Take a Trip
  • Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle
  • Drink Less Alcohol
All admirable goals, and all achievable with a little hard work.  Do any of these make your list for 2015 in some shape or form?  We'd love to hear what your resolutions and goals are for the coming year!

  1. My resolution is to get out in public more. I'd like to meet more people and focus more on developing my extroverted side. I have a STRONG tendency to hide in a room and work without interaction. I also resolve to increase my knot tying skill. There are knots that I haven't tied in 30 years and some that I have never tied. I intend to add 3 completely new patterns to my repertoire and start working in 3-d rather than just flat weaves.

  2. Stay focused. Meet new people. Have fun.

  3. Try to diversify my work more, and I like the 'have fun' from the post above, so I want that too!
